id not make a decision untill detailed recent pictures!
why selling after 25yrs with new car on the road?
id suspect its rotten myself, could be wrong like.

Nick, if the car is available to view and he shows up its all good.
ask him to take a pic of the car with a message on a bit of paper,
i.e NICK on a bit of A4 paper on the bonnet of the car to prove the car is real.
