Default My First Cossie!

Hello all,

So ive finally bought my first ever Cosworth!

After about 16 years of craving for one tomrrow ill have my very own "Cosworth"

Its a moonstone Sapphire 4wd (Converted to 2wd) running a stage one spec with "LEVEL 8 ECU, BAYOO CHIP, 3 BAR MAP, GREEN INJECTORS, T34 TURBO, UPRATED ACTUATOR, 500 STYLE INTERCOOLER"

nice leather and looks very clean. 17" TSW imolas so cant wait! will put a pic on here when i get her nut just had to shout about it!!

P.s - regarding the engine spec, any advise what might be the best route forward - not that im craving more power straight away but just so i know my options on the best way forward to get to a stage 3!

My advice would be, leave it as it is, it's your first Cosworth you say? Get used to it, enjoy AND most importantly keep it reliable

You already have a nice Spec there

and since its new to you check under it for any leaks etc as belive it or not people lie or dont tell you stuff when selling cars

and ENJOY IT!!

Congrats mate, must feel AWESOME!

First thing I'd do is take it somewhere and get the fuelling checked out before giving it loads of right foot

I think I saw the car in question on eBay a few days ago. Congrats on owning one, still going to be a long, grueling wait before I can afford to insure one let alone buy one.

Well done mate, i'm sure you'll love it. For years i promised myself an RS. In the late 80s i promised myself an S1 RS Turbo when i had an XR3i - never got one, a few years later i promised myself either a 3 door or a Saph Cossie - never got one as i was going through my sensible car ownership period (all Fords by the way) then last year i took the plunge and bought an RS Focus which i wish i had done years ago, i'd still love a Cossie though but we'll have to see about that.
Hope you enjoy it mate and don't forget the piccys.

lovely car, good spec!

thats a sapphire 2000E steering wheel, not a cossie one (better as it matches the dash on Cloth interiors IMO)

and im not a fan of super T`s on saffs as they "tuck in" rather than have a dish

otherwise bang on for me

get some badges on the boot, everyone knows its a Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth, if youve got it........... flaunt it!!
