Default Re fuel rail pressue sensor

Hi there I have a 2002 focus St 170 and the day it broke down I managed to get my mate to tow me home my car started first time when I got home with mil on so ran diagnostic tests and got code p0190 also other code pending p0193 car ran fine for about ten minutes then got lumpy and cut out is this a sign of fuel pump or the pressure.Today me and my friend fitted second hand pump car ran fine for about 20 mins then cut out droped in revs then cut out car shows no signes of fuel on gauge even thought there is 1/4 of tank fuel and pump does not seem to be pumping or priming i forgot to say there is a new fuel filter on it some one any one ever had this issue my first ford and i have had more problems than i have ever had with any car in all my life i have realy nice looking car but i cant get it running now lol

P0193 is pressure to high. Check the VREF wire for the rail pressure sensor for voltage and see what's its sending back. If above 4.5v constant I would suspect the sensor is at fault. Ideally check the fuel pressure manually to confirm

They are prone to problems, they don't have a conventional FPR either, rather the ECU controls the pressure.

manually check pressure to be sure of your next step, i.e sensor or controller as previous suggestions say.
