What is a Marram shaft
I have just got my T38 and it has a Marram shaft which I have been told is good - But what the hell is a Marram shaft?
Also who is a good person to do live mapping with a L8 and 750cc injectors in the Bath/Bristol area?

A maram shaft is less likely to melt when used with ALS. I am not that clued up on the subject, im sure someone else here is, but it's like an uprated shaft in the turbo which can take the abuse of a full-on anti-lag set-up.
More techy answer coming right up I guess....

MFR Tim, you are correct. Maram 247 is the name of the material used to construct the shafts that were used by Ford (and others) in the WRC turbos. They are resistant to the high EGT's generated by the WRC spec anti-lag. These shafts are now very difficult to obtain, so privided it is a genuine 247 shaft, you are very lucky...
