Hi. My rear shocks are shot. Anyone got any tips on how to change them? I've had a go on my ramps and seems almost impossible, also would a faulty shocker destroy the drop link?, I replaced a worn out one with a brand new one but it only lasted a fortnight and is totally buggered, or is it cos its a cheapo or faulty maybe? Thanks for any advice given.

 

They are very awkward but they can be done, no tips really but if you have the ramp that will make it better ,did mine on the floor ,the drop links, go for genuine ones

 

Thanks for that, yeah, its the nut at the the other end of the shocker top bolt, I assumed it was captive, alas not, struggling to get a ring spanner on it let alone work out what size it is. I cracked it now its banging. Lost my patience its booked in on wed's.

 

Garage did it for me. Rear sub frame needed to be dropped duevtona seized bolt. Shit design.
