Escort S1 Non-Custom
Long time ago (about 8 years ago) my brother turned up with this S1 saying he wanted to build a track car but it needs a few bits done to it to make it solid and would i help him out.

Being a fool i agreed and we got busy stripping her down, but the more we removed the more rot we found.

So it needs a new front end, so engine out time.

New metal.

The removal.

Then found more rust so wings had to come off too.

Now the process of find rust, remove and make good.

Someone before me had put some floor panels over the old floor( more on this later )

And thats how she sat four about four years under a cover, i needed more room in the garage so a idea for a work shop on the end was put into action.

And then the Cosworth spent a winter or two in there.

Then this year the S1 made it into the garage, so i cleaned up the surface rust and gave her a little paint.

Then a few weeks ago i got something over always wanted....
A rollover jig.

Removed the back end now access to rusty bolts.

Now time to sort out those floors. Removal of replacement with more rust..

And that was yesterday. I will update as i do more.
Thanks for looking.
