I have for sale is my Very Good condition and well maintained Mk4 Escort XR3i Cabriolet, The car was bought from Leigh on Sea in 1989 from Perrys Ford garage. The car has only covered 83000 miles from new. I have a great bundle of history with the car including the Perry's Ford wallet, Bill of Sale, Every MOT Certificate since it's first in 1992, All Ford Service Manuals and Booklets including the accident break down booklet, also I have Parts History with receipts to prove, two factory keys with immobilisers.Original Perry's sticker and Number plates, with originals windows with number plates etched. After the 2nd owner sold the car in 2003 the car had only covered 70,237 miles between 2002 and 2003 on the MOT odometer read it covered 7 miles in that one year. the 3rd and 4th owners were friends which the 4th owner took it from his friend to store it when the 3rd owner lost his storage in 2008 which then was dry stored till this year. i bought the car with 83000 on the clock and between this year and last year it's only covered 200 miles, odometer currently read 83,360 which may slightly increase.

The car is in great condition only slight little issues it has is a slightly tatty roof which may need changing but it doesn't leak, tiny little blister on the bottom of the passenger door tiny bit of surface rust on the towing eye, general age related marks but nothing major. and little crack on the drivers rear light

Other than those issues the car is great, the car is undersealed and wax oiled and is really solid underneath with all the hard box sections and areas covered, most of the exposed bolts and nuts are wax oiled as well as the door hinges inside the doors, the floor pans are really strong as well as the sills which are all original, the wings and panels are all original also with no rust on any arches, the battery tray has been changed in the past.

Everything on the car works spot on including the Heated Front and Rear Screens, Electric wing mirrors, Electric windows, Electric Roof, Radio Antenna, Spotlights, Original Stereo and Original Ford Equalizer.

The engine is a real gem with no normal nasty rattle or knocks and it is really quiet to the normal typical CVH engines. Also has the bonnet carpet under the bonnet which is quite rare to find also.

The work that has been carried out in the past month has been Cambelt, Fan belt, Valve Stem Oil Seals, Rocker Cover Gasket, Full Service including( Oil Change, Oil Filter,Spark Plugs, K&N Panel filter), HT Leads, Rotor Arm, Distributor Cap, New Thermostat, New Coolant which has been totally flushed through. I've put Escort RS Turbo front 90 Spec Seats in also. There's also Escort Series 2 RS turbo wheels also which are all a matching set of four with part numbers and dates on the wheels, which are in very good condition with plenty of tread on the tires.

I also machine polished and detailed the car also with G3 Liquid compound, Diamond Brite polish and a top layer of Dodo juice Supernatural wax, the car has nice real deep shine, the White really has come up and looks almost new. managed to clean all done the chassis legs and in all the tight areas.
There's also a Tonneau cover in white which will come with the car also there's the spare wheel with the tool kit present also.

Thanks mate! im open to offers on the price i did have it on ebay but the open to offers idea turned into taking the piss lol, the 3i's never did i know it's not an RS turbo, but if anyone wanted this car for anything it's a good base great to be tucked for the summer months!
