hi, new to passion ford but not to fords, i've just aquired myself a P100 with a 2.9 cosworth engine, the pick up aint too bad but needs a couple of issues seeing too before i can start the bodywork etc, (i will add ongoing pics). firstly, the diff is whining, can anyone recommend a decent diff / axle that will fit or even a remedy? Secondly, its ticking over quite fast for about 20 seconds after pulling up, it then slows down to normal tick over, could do with it slowing straight away. All advice welcome.

 

Sounds nice project we are running 4x4 Cossie little bit of work but I think well worth it

 

 

mines got the scorpio 24v engine and im thinking its got the standard diff and axle which aint strong enough for the power, some one mentioned a jag back axle cos i wanted to keep it on leaf springs
