Anyone else get caught by fiesta wrs (Daniel Thornber) !

Had a for sale add in RS Focus parts (see below link) bought items from him and paid via PayPal, he reqeusted I pay as a gift to avoid fees, never had a problem with sellers on here before so went ahead, still not received items and he does not respond to e-mails or calls.

Did any body buy items from him and receive them ?

He was also selling via ebay ( lakeway88 )

It's the sort of thing these arseholes can do with impunity, the old bill aren't interested and even if they do get caught for it, the punishment's no more than a slap on the wrist.
Hope you get it sorted mate, but if you don't get satisfaction, you'll have to just do what I did, and learn from it and move on...

hang fire a minute! i havnt scammed, ripped off or robbed anybody.

ive been away working and couldnt get onto here on my phone as it just crashed and wouldnt load anything up.

if you want my address ask me for it. i havnt not answered any calls, not replied to messages or ignored anybody.

ive never ripped anybody off or scammed any1 either.

all the parts i have for sale are mine, not just a picture stolen from google, i havnt sold the same item twice and i certainly havnt kept anybodies money without sending the items.

any items ive sold have been posted. if theres any problems message me dont just jump the gun and think youve been robbed.

ive been a member on here for years with no problems ripping anybody off. ive always paid my membership!

its not like ive been a member for 2 weeks and sold 30 items i havnt got. you guys need to chill out before saying ive ripped anybody off!

its tough for me to loose the cash, been a hard couple of years. Maybe he will feel guilty and refund my money, he may have a genuine reason for not sending them, who knows !

at least he has responded. in all fairness he is probably just a busy man and isn't the quickest in the world at organising postage/packaging. still not ideal when your waiting for bits to get on with a build ect but it beats been scammed.

Paid for the parts on the 18th Sept, Daniel has assured me its a misunderstanding and I will receive my parts soon, will keep you posted.
