I got tugged by the old bill last night and he said he pulled me over because my number plates are illegal.
When I asked why they were illegal, he said that the spacing is wrong and that if he sees me with the same plates on again, his words, 'I'll have you for them'!!! Tit!
I just told him to nick me now as they are staying on as there's nothing wrong with them.
Now the spacing on my plates are exactly the same as my mates car and several others that I've seen so I really can't see the problem.
It wasn't a traffic officer that pulled me, just a regular one in an Astra so I think he was just bored and on a power trip!!
Anything wrong with these?:

I think he was just bored so thought he'd try and piss someone off - it worked!! Lol!
the spacing i would say is fine, but i'm sure they must display the postcode of the supplier on them, so he probably could have done you if he was wanting to

He didn't seem that bothered about the lack of postcode tbh just the spacing.

Spacing is exactly the same as on one of my cars (letter, number, space, three letters) and is totally legal.
I thought postcode AND BS number was required on cars registered after a certain date and plates made after that date too, so they are probably not legal.
There is also a specific font, but that appears to be OK too.
Sound like he was just looking for an excuse to stop you.
I have 2 cars with registrations old enough to not need either BS or postcode, but the plates do anyway.

Nothing wrong with those plates: looks like the pig didn't know his plate legalities.
I know mine are 100% legal and are not much different from yours in spacings:

Mine have the BS AU 145D crap and postcode too for what it's worth.
Tell them to prosecute you and watch them make a tit of themselves in court.

Spacing is wrong mate, I got done for same thing guy was honest tho and said his machine could read the plate so he'd let me off your plate should read C4-- GTR instead it's -C4- GTR
Mines was mega wrong tho M66 6ENT Lolita even tried to space it M 66 6ENT lol
Should have post code and BS number too and if it's new a GB sticker
It always depends on the copper I've seen some terrible plates my boss just has NEA1 smack bang in the middle of a plate but as it's always on 70+ grand cars he never gets stopped lol

Yup, nothing wrong at all with those! Get them cut down too like on the example above, as long as they have the reuired amount of spacing at each end and have all the BS shit on it, then it's still legal!
That's the point tho if an ANPR can't read it how will the government make money off you so the police in ford that's and as Another nice little side like you get a nick and FINE if he dosent have some bull shit numbers on it aswell lol
