Hi guys I got a chance to buy a mk2 mondeo complete for 150

I take the 2.0 Zetec turbo same engine just with turbo ???

Any idea how much would the parts cost to mak it turbo

And would the sump need adjusting or could I buy a diffrent one ??

 

Ye its a 2.0 with a turbo added, but there's a bit more to it than that, like you will need a different inlet as the standard one wont flow enough, same with fuel injectors, probably uprated valve springs, different engine management etc. Its said that it can be done for about Ł1000 butI'd budget Ł2k just in case, I believe you can use the standard sump, not sure if any modifications are required though.

 

Oil feed from block, oil return to sump, manifolds, gearbox, LSD, valve springs, decomp plate, sump depending on exhaust setup, arp con Rod bolts (can get away with), injectors, spark plugs, decent breather setup and a turbo. Pretty much a rough guide but you'll find plenty if info around here. Gjh is right have a budget of up to Ł2k. I've bought most of my setup and I'm under a grand at the minute but you'll be looking at another Ł600+ with all the ancillary parts and fitting

I was just wondering what parts would I need to run a turbo

I know intercooler turbo manifolds intercooler pipes but what eles is needed can't rember off the top of my head gone blond lol

Aftermarket throttle biddies

Mtx75 gear box

Rs gasket set or one suitable for 500 bhp

Uprated water pump/oil pump

Race clutch

Balanced fly wheel

LSD

Arp bolts all round

Heavy duty bearings

Coil overs

Ecu remapped with multi maps I hope one for fuel save for long travels sport and track

750cc injectors

Gauges

Set of mk5 fiesta twins with sports cat
