I got suspended from college for arsing about on the field in my mini. The letter to the parents was funny as; "driven recklessly, and on one occasion with the bonnet up!". We had to have it up to keep the temps down, the stat was pissing steam out!! Them were the days.

Lol I did the other day tuning a green innocenti mini driving about tuning it with the bonnet off its just easier lol

 

At the ring a few years ago we took SiB's bonnet off and cable tied his fuel pressure reg to the strut brace to check the fuel pressure on boost but the bonnet was removed

 

Lol.My cossie over heated when I went to ford fair a few years back.Someone had bodged the wiring to the fan switch and one of the bullet connectors came off.

Ive fixed it properly now.

My guess is battery had given up completely and would not hold any sort of charge. Especially with modern day automotive electronics, how the fuck did he manage to get away with it without cooking every single circuit on that Merc or blowing the pack up?!

 

What an idiot lol. I've driven with my bonnet up on my old mk1 mexico when it flipped up and bent in half when I forgot to put the bonnet pins in, I shit myself lol
