A mate of mine picked up his 667bhp escos yesterday from MAD came over to mine last night and took me for a short spin all I can say is it made me feel physically sick how fast the car accelerated !!
I've been in various fast cars over the years from 500 fwd Audis to 500hp 2wd cossies but this was a different league al together
Very cool! I went in Harvey Gibbs' old Escort Cosworth, think that was 680bhp on pump fuel and that was pretty nippy. 4WD makes it feel so refined still, so different to a big power 2WD car.
This is the ex-Yum engine running a Borg Warner 300sx. Topend Power is curtailed because of the 3" exhaust a 3.5" system would see circa 700bhp. Transmission will need sorting with 563ft-lb Torque but lots of potential with this car.

There is nothing quite like a big power YB to take your breath away.
I get to play with evos and skylines with silly power and I always get asked by friends or relatives 'what's 4,5,6,7,800 bhp actually like?'
Not one of them believe me when I tell them it's so quick shit gets blurry lol.
So out we go. First and second gear ill give it a little squeeze doing no more then 40. Then it's 3rd and a heavy foot. The look of horror on some of there faces is hilarious and seeing grown men trying to wrap themselves round a roll cage hahahahahaha
There really is no way to describe big power.
But for me there is one thing better the blurry ness or being nailed to the seat and that's seeing the face of a bike rider when you leave him for dead.

Haha I though it was just me when everything was blurry
Just organised having a 3.5" exhaust made and also a stronger gearbox.. So hopefully a bit more power for next years. I just want to run a 10 second 1/4 mile and ill be happy
Most I've had Ade is when Mark did my last Sapph @ 442 bhp and i thought that was fast, lol, another 300 is just sick
Can't wait, I've now got a Tremec TKO 600 gearbox and custom prop fitted, finally bought a brand new 9" Ford motorsport diff, looking forward to finally being able to launch proper

The drive shafts will go next Ade its the next weak link for heavy launches.

You're not wrong Rod, you should know! Bara is working on some meaty shafts and group A CV joints, he says they will handle Marks 'beyond normally achievable power and torque figures'
