I've got an '83 Ford Escort.

The colorcode on the vin plate is: 5 3.

Does anybody know the name or xsc number for my car?

Had the car colorscanned today.
Again the wrong color.... ;(

 

Looks like Paris Blue, but 83 might be too early for that?

It's difficult to see on a screen if the color is the right one, but i'll have it made tomorrow, and we'll see...

Had just a littlebit to paint, but it's i a point of vieuw.

 

I had a 1984 MK3 Escort and that was Glacier Blue. My sprayer told there were seven shades. Don't know how true that is. Good luck.

Glacier blue it is.

But......

Turns out the car had a re-spray, but only the half of the car. Right side and roof and hood

In daylight it was difficult to see, but in TL light, it is a big difference.

It's 2 shades off, but in daylight it's ok.

Next year a complete re-spray will do the trick.. Car is hard and rust free.
