I'm making a loom to run my FRST off a Megasquirt. The original engine harness has injectors 1&2 and 3&4 spliced to fire together. Most megasquirt wiring harness examples suggest using 1&4 and 2&3.

Which should I do?

My megasquirt fires 1&2 3&4 for the injectors.

The wasted spark/coil pack fires 1&4 2&3

 

Anyone know a reason to wire it differently? It seems odd that most megasquirt documents recomend 1&4 2&3 but Ford have chosen to do 1&2 3&4.
