What's the noise limit (DB) and what's the regs on going a bit sideways? Really cheap for a roll on roll off day

Bedford is 101db trackside and 87.5db drive past mate. What system to use my RS2000 has a straight though system with no Cat and only a rear box done about 6/7 events there never even had a noise board

you can attend any of the msv track days for a "free noise test" on a track day they are holding

so find a track near you thats having a day your free and go get it checked before booking, i read chip's comments before that if you think its loud it most likely is over, very strict!

depends what exhaust you are running too, but my mk3 escort that had twin 40s and full janspeed manifold and system and revved to 8k was alot quieter than cars that were passing at castle coombe.

I got black flagged for noise several times and once for excessive drifting I might take the Corsa this time lol

Car won't be ready til close to this event so probably won't get chance to go for a noise test
Cr is running Ashley manifold and system if that helps?
The last owner had it on at Combe with no problems but I know Bedfords stricter on noise and that's why I can't take the 3dr out to play

Awesome, will be booking up on this when I get paid. Should have my new turbo and goodies in place and all the niggles ironed out. My old German barge should do well with almost an extra 100bhp

Doesn't matter, we've all been there. You can book tuition with MSV direct and/or ask one of us and we'll see you right. Personally I would do both.

I'm there - enjoyed it earlier this year after learning of the day from one of Loader's friends.

Mighty good value for the GP circuit and a good selection of cars kicking about.

Normal M3 will be fine is all the bleedin induction noise of the CSL that does it unless I short shift at 6000 rpm and that's just boring lol. (I might bring the CSL as well to use half a day and the Corsa the other half when I get booted off)

You'll have fun at Bedford in an frs, it's a great track, unless it's wet, then it's under steer central.

I did the pf trackday at Bedford a few years ago in the 205 and loved the track, didn't go back as I fitted throttlebodies and knew it would be to loud with bedfords strict noise limit. Cant wait to try out the focus
