more specifically the 08 range with the 6 disc in dash cd changer?

the disc is stuck and won't come out, but i've not seen the motor so far as it's one of my dads mates who generally leaves it on the drive to show off that he's got one

is it likely to be an easy fix or wil he have to shell out on a new head unit?

i know that one the ford versions you were able to just pop the cd's out once the cover was opened up but with this thing i'm not sure i want to start fiddling with the bits
