Default repair the arches

I repaired the arches on my fiesta mk5 but obv we did the cover up job with the filler and sanding, the results lasted well for 6 months but sadly there are signs of the rust poking back through again , is there any recommendations on a place to go to get new arches put in? is it even worth it?

It depends how much rust there is. Having it done properly will be expensive.

Trouble with jobs like this is you don't know if its going to be done properly, also if it is done properly they may find more rust than you think and it'll cost more.

i thought it was treated :/ obv wasnt as treated as well as it should of been! i going away over the winter but i see how it looks next summer, if its really bad then decide if give it another go. I was told though even when you treat it then the rust still comes back, apprently only way to get rid of it is to cut it out

The only way to properly treat/remove the rust is to have it cut out & a new arch welded back in as they rot from the inner arch outwards.

However its not a cheap job, I had prices ranging from Ł300 - Ł1000

What causes it. Do they rot from the inside out. I bet in hot countrys they dont rot.
