Sorry for the poor title, just wondering if there is a reason that the mk4 cabby front speaker mountings are part of the shell it's self, is this a strengthening thing?????


Reason being is I'm breaking one at the moment and was thinking of welding these parts into my RWD converted Mk4, any extra strength can't be a bad thing, plus the speaker covers seem to fit better and there black.


Any opinions on this!!!!!
