I'm not too clued up when it comes to gearboxes/ transmissions....

I know most will say just fit a evo box (I know one is for sale that has been converted but is a bit pricey for me.

I currently have a mtx fitted so mondeo 4x4 box makes sense.mondeo mtx's are still strong gearboxes capable of taking 500bhp....... So is more than enough for me....

Could someone please explain why a evo transfer box/ rear rs diff setup wouldn't work with the mondeo box? Ignoring the mating together part.......

For example say I had modded the casing and shaft so it fits to the gearbox).

 

Any of this help all tho he used a Evo box as well, i take it your used a pre VII non ACD unit
