Hi all, this'll be my first post on here! I'm no stranger to forums but I'm personally into Peugeots (sorry!). Anyways, I digress......

I've been drafted in to help a friend finish his car. Basically it's a mk3 shell with a zetec turbo and 1800 Mondeo mtx75 box. It's all in on fabricated mounts and the chassis legs been relieved etc. we're now looking at the shafts, it seems a but of a no brainer to me to use the two piece offside shaft rather than the 1 piece escort shaft. That looks like it'll fit although clearance is tight around the bottom arm mount. Is this usually modded for more clearance?
We're thinking of using shortened Mondeo shafts with nearside escort outer joints. Is this the usual way of doing it or are there 'off the shelf' shafts available?
does anyone have the driveshaft lengths to hand to make our life easier if we mod our own shafts?
