Alright!
My missus is keen for a new motor. She has given me some criteria and 'must haves' and 'must not haves'
Now.. I'm struggling here.
She wants a hatchback, 3 or 5 door. Heavily specced with options like, cruise control and heated seats etc. Sat Nav would be nice. Engine is not important, although i'm trying to avoid wheezy 1.4's.
Budget is 6k MAX.
So far, she's decided she likes Golfs. The only golfs I can find to tick her boxes are MK5 GTIs, but she's a fussy one, and doesn't seem to like Grey which is a shame as one perfect one is grey...
I also showed her a Focus ST with ALL the stuff she wanted but she didn't like the colour, or the stripes....
Sooo
What cars am I missing here? Civics are out as she thinks they look odd. No Hyundais or other cheap **** please, and no french cars as i ****ing hate them....

I don't give a fuck Rog, I got my Evo
Thanks for that.
Could you be a tad more speciifc??
It's not about performance, it's about gadgetry. Does a Skoda Fabia VRS have all the toys?

Same as golfs and A3's really, just depends what was specced when new. As standard the octy doesnt have that much, cruise control is standard, multi function display in the clocks and steering wheel controls come free with dsg but are extras on the manual. Parking sensors, winter pack with the auto lights and wipers etc. And sat nav are all extras.
The performance is nothing special, the engines are the same as the rest of the vag range, the vRS is more a trim level with the sporty seats etc.

I have a 59 reg SEAT Leon 1.4 TSi Sport
125bhp turbo - far from 'wheezy'
Has bluetooth, cruise control, reverse parking sensors, dual zone climate control, leccy windows, heated piwer folding wing mirrors, 17" alloys a multi function display, auto lights/wipers, ipod connection and tinted privacy glass as standard.
Some also have the RNS510 stereo which adds Nav as well
A fastatically specced car for the money and as mentioned above you can get an FR.
You can pick these up now for reasonable money.

My a3 is a 5 door sportback, cruise, park sensors, powerfold mirrors,iPod connection, dual climate, full elec windows, welcome home lights, lights, puddle lights, auto dim mirror rain sensitive wipers, optional upgraded seats with 2 tone black grey leather, centre console cargo net, brilliant car really is I dropped on mine by chance as a cat c only suffered suspension damage all sorted 4.5k would get one similar

You wait until she swerves to avoid something at speed and it rolls/nearly rolls
Oh i forget, being a women driver she wont swerve to avoid something, she will just panic, take everything off pedals/wheel and scream while she crashes

Really should have a panic test in the driving test. Know far too many women who passed a driving test with the predicatable emergency stop, yet slightest thing goes wrong in real life and they panic at the wheel.

Let me guess "she feels safer in the high up 4x4"
