UPDATE.

Parts are now available, as finally got some time free, please allow a couple of weeks still though if you want anything as im only around at weekends generally so by time I take it off one weekend and post the next its going to be a while.


Engine and box have gone.
Rear diff is also sold.

Sadly the time has come to finally get rid of my sierra.

Still love the car to bits but between work commitments and all the trackdays we do with the clios the harsh reality is that it just doesn't get used anymore.

Not had anything to do with buying and selling cossie parts for ages now so thought my best bet is a whats it worth question.

Anyone got a list of prices they got when breaking a 3 door cossie recently?

Mods let me know if this isn't allowed but my understanding is that one "what's it worth" thread per gold member is ok.

All parts are available except the engine and box which are going into mike woodfords Westfield where I can still abuse them now and then. Lol.
(That means complete engine plus loom and turbo and injectors etc so none of that is available either)

Bodykit I would like to sell complete ideally, all genuine parts including rs500 front bumper and 3door rear spoiler. (The rs500 spoiler was sadly pinched)
Bodykit and doors and bonnet and boot etc will all need painting as they are yellow.

Interior is in very good condition except for a crack on the drivers door card, seats have very little signs of wear.

What should I be asking for it all please lads?

Anyone after parts please be aware I work away from home all week so only around weekends to take parts off and can't always post straight away. So if you don't mind the possibility of parts taking a couple weeks to arrive then please don't enquire.

Yes I do need to add a lot more details I realise mate, and will do so over the next few weeks including pictures, but just hoping to get an idea of value of all the standard bits as thats what I am pretty clueless about in the current market.

For the record though, everything related to engine/ecu/loom/injectors/turbo is all sold already, as is the gearbox and clutch.
For a price that would make you cry considering it was for both my engines too not just the one, but part of the deal is I can use it in its new home for a few trackdays etc


Only engine related things I have for sale really is a RP Labs L8 if I can find the damn thing as its so long since I used it last, lol.

 

Im sure Paul knows exactly what everything would be worth, but as a trader I wouldnt expect him to take hours detailing it all for me.

I'd guess I'll get more for the bodykit stuff on the open market than Paul would give me as obviously he will need to sell back on for a decent profit himself if he bought it.
Luckily im in no rush at all to get rid of it, so can hold out for sensible money on everything, the new house has a fair amount of space and storage etc and TBH I have no immediate use for the cash, so I can just rack a lot of stuff up and leave it for as long as it takes to go at fair prices rather than needing to get rid of everything in a massive hurry for pennies like sometimes happens when people break a car and desperately need shot.

Harris, yes I do have, but wouldnt want to remove it or the doors or bootlid until the very end of breaking it as obviously if the shell spends any time outside I want it water proof.

 

Dont really know where to start have you still got all the software ect ?

 

You need a licence for the software mate, from Nikola, it locks itself just to one PC, god knows why.

Have a chat with him and check you can get a license ok, if so its yours for 400?

Lower spoiler is just a saph one not an RS500 one sadly.

No the 500 id is long gone, its just a 1600 shell and ID, so more or less worthless once its lost all the other bits like doors and bonnet and boot etc I would think.

I threw a set of clocks a few weeks ago, as all I used was the rev counter with boost in the corner for my saph

 

Has this got a 3dr electric ariel mate with wiring etc? If so how much??

Depends what ends up left on it TBH mate, that will be the last thing that I sell so the price will depend on if things like the sunroof sell for example.

Its a NON cosworth logbook.

Sorry mate, shows how little Ive used the car lately, I completely forgot they were clears not ambers on it.

 

I know you said all engine related equipment but does that include the fuel pump and is it a 044?
And fuel pump holder if it fits a 4x4 saph and is in good order.

Not sure if its the same as a saph, but yes I have the complete 044 and cradle and filter still, cradle looks well used but still fairly sound IIRC but I can get pics.

In all honesty ill certainly take the pump and filter regardless of cradle but if it can all be done in one that's great.

I do but would prefer to sell the doors complete with glass and motors in them.

If no one wants them In next couple of months and you aren't sorted though I will break the doors down at that stage.

Couple of small holes drilled in the surround for alarm LEDs but no damage to the glass or clocks themselves etc.
