Fresh out the machine shop, checked over and been ground to

Big ends .75
Mains .5

Still in bag with some engineering oil sprayed on it.
No issues, all good and came out of my own saff.

Grinding sizes sound odd, thought it went .25, .50 & .75? Not being a knob just never heard those sizes being used before?

I am interested but what's written on the crank ? says Slightly 'something' on mains? sounds like it needed to go again on the grind ???

Just says slightly down on mains so that why it's .5 there's nothing wrong with it. If I wanted to hide anything I wouldn't of let the picture show the label.

It was done at Blackburn brothers in Preston. They do all machine work for me and all my friends including 550bhp engines and rally cars and none of us have ever had an issue with their work.

 

Fine if it was done at Blackburn Brothers he does my cossie engines for the rally cars. Does it come with shells?

Still not sure what 'slightly down on mains' means?

Ford state a tolerance for the journal sizes, are they saying its not inside these tolerances ?

Just for info, you can get the shells for those sizes from woodford garage or burton last time I checked
