Default Golf Diesels

Looking for a winter hack as ive just sold my current motor ( i know its not winter yet but wont be long)

Theres a golf mk4 around the corner from me on a 51 reg. Its a 3 door and it has the PD 115bhp engine, its a GT TDi model.

Its done 155,000 miles, but has full service history and a load of paperwork and reicepts and hes asking £1500 which is a fair price as its clean and has nice wheels etc.

The question here is the mileage, are these good to go at that mileage or is it a mileage where things start to fall apart? It had the cambelt done not long ago. Just wondered what else to look out for?

Thanks

I got it, it goes well! Needs the beam bushes doing though as theres a nasty thud from under the backseat area when going over certain dips in the road like.

You wont look back imop. Great cars. Yup the bushes are very common fit polly ones. Mine have been on two years now and still good. The standerd ones lasted 12 months last time. Same on the front aswell the big bushes worn in 3 months standerd ones. Polly have been 2 years
