Hi,

I've got two blue point air ratchets that have given up the ghost, they worked fine but now don't move, you press it and it just blows air out. it's not seized up and I've recently just oiled them up..

Anyone got any ideas on how to repair them or where to get a repair kit?

 

You sure the compressor is delivering enough air? How much use have they had? I used to use ingersol rand ones and they took a beating all day, every day.

You need to oil them daily though!!

 

Yes mate, the compressor is a big boy for industrial use at my work, they've had a fair bit of use for about a year or so..

Plus it's more expensive to get snap on to repair them then buying a new one, by I've already gone through 2 so I'd rather repair them myself then keep buying them.

 

you can get the spare parts of snap on man and do it youself mate,
i ask the snap on man for the parts list and orderd what i needed after i stripped it down
