Well the girlfriend has had this car for 4 weeks now and says it stalling when she is going slow round corners or slowing down..
Well it has never happened to me and she is happy for me to accuse her, that is just her driving and not use to the car yet.
But just wondering do the suffer form poor idling problems? And what can I check or look out for as we are ment to be using this to travel to ford fair on the weekend.
Any advice would be welcome, thank you
Also may I add it is a well serviced car with 69.000 miles on the clock.

I'm not really clued up on this engine but someone will tell you if it's right or not.
The idle control valve? Maybe it needs cleaning.
Like I said i don't know the set up so I'm guessing.
And it doesn't stall for you?

mine does it, its intermediat but it used to be awful at it so i took the airflow sensor off and cleaned it, its between your filter box and your throttle.
try that see what happens.

If it was happening all the time like my xr2i did, it was down to an air leak to the brake servo/vacuum hoses
idle valve may need cleaning.
check breather pipes on the intake, they can split or go soft and collapse
check throttle body itself, may need cleaning.
maf as mentioned
Also the clutch pedal has a switch on make sure it's plugged in/wires are not broken.

The wifes old fiesta did it a few times. There is a Idle Speed Control Valve on the manifold. Its held on by 2 8 mm bolts.Remove the ISCV and clean it out with brake cleaner then soak it in brake fluid over night. Then refit.

There's also the Power Steering Pressure sensor, it's behind the front bumper at the bottom to the right, a cylindrical sensor with a plug and 2 wires, check the wires aren't broken/damaged as this can cause the idle to be all over the place.
And as above, check the ISCV and possibly the speed sensor.
