What oil should i use in my roof motor??....it's totally empty, been to ford's and halford's and they weren't sure

Believe it or not, bit of WD40 makes it shine.... but the rain will make its run all down the windows

Nah nah, i need oil for the motor in the boot, that puts the roof up & down.

dunno about that one then, never head of someone wanting to replace oil in the motor thou.....

From what I remember its just hydraulic oil, but i'd be a little concerned where the oil has gone that was in there

fookin hell ive never known anyone thats needed to replace the stuff.. the level of mine has never moved in about 3 yrs!
but as above i imagine its just some hydraulic oil that they use in JCB's etc

Gearbox oil mate

Ford DO do a special oil but is fooking expensive, its the viscosity that matters and I am sure it was gearbox oil I used in mine.
