Its WELL quiet at RWYBs there, can honestly run every 10mins usually.

We going sunday for a bit of testing, look out for a black RWD R32 Skyline, il be the hungover one asleep in the passenger seat

You NEED a helmet if your running 100mph+ terminals or theyl not allow you to run....

And if your bored you can go buy some cheap stuck in the past tat like fake kickers and lumberjack shirts at the Market next door

Itsmeagain (steve) His mate was trying to get grip all day in the skyline.

Saw Alex f think he knew who I was in the end lol he had a few runs down in his mini..

And a few smart saff cossies where there too...

 

lol! Yes I worked out who you are now!!!

I looked out for you later on but didn't see you at all!

I ran a 15.8 on 6psi... I forgot to check the boost till my 3rd run... then I blew somthing up running at 8psi on my 4th and final run LOL!

Oh well... good fun!!

what was the grip like? were there long queues?

 

Like i said before, queues are fuck all, mate managed 8 runs and we left only about 3 and stopped a few times to eat n look around etc etc etc.

Couldve EASY got 15runs.

Was a bit of a mission getting that fucker to grip tho!

Managed a 13.2@115 at best, and 4 other runs in the 13s, and the rest were totally fucked up as we was trying different stuff

Hes ran a 12.8@118, its just grip, we had the tyres down to 10-15psi but didnt bloody help much

9x15s and drag slicks coming

At least 10 saffs there, a EscCos, as well as a few RSTs, but only 1 saff ran (pussys! ) and about 4 RSTs.

the only run I saw was a 17 sec pass

Nah, we had 4 goes in 1st gear, 4 goes in 2nd gear, 1st only worked if he literally rolled off the line at almost idle, anything else span like mad, even at 2k , 2nd didnt work at all

6k in 2nd n it lit em up badly and then bogged badly in 3rd, 4k bogged, 5k bogged, 5.5k bogged, so we went home

Best 60ft was 2.4sec from a almost idle launch in 1st that got the 13.2, most the rest was 2.8

Idve been the hungover one in the big cream coat, id got in about 4am, i remember watching Zoids on Sky1 so prob wasnt asleep till about 6am, and was awake at 8.30

Steve saw you as well with ya mate in the Skyline - recognised the zigzag beard! LOL! I did wonder what was going on with his starts cos when he finally got grip it feckin flew!!! There where two saphs running - the white one on 16" TSWs & the charcoal grey one on escy cos rims - think the best the white one got was 13.9.

Wasnt a bad day all in all...weather stayed reasonable & the queues were short, they started earlier than usual & they didnt stop for lunch like they used to!! RSCossieKim would have been down in hers only her PAS pump fell off on the way down on the M6!!

 

I bet he ran more than 6 psi too

was traction better than at pod? do they put any glue down on a RWYB day?

 

Traction at Avon Park is always better than at SantaPod RWYBs, they prep the track, wheras Pod only seem to do it for Test n Tune days.

Lots of proper drag teams there testing their cars.

Infact i remember people COMPLAINING when SantaPod prepped the track properly before the 1st Central RSOC day i think it was, as it made it so grippy everyone was blowing their diffs

LOL yeh i saw that bird in the queing lane telling u to get out the car steve even tho there was about 5 cars in front waiting too You missed my mate in his blue crx (ex Jo`s car) first time there waiting in the queing lane smoking in the car that moody bird went mad

Yeh Alex i was in the stand most the day just watchin the action but when i did go back into the pits i saw the mini bk on the trailer packed up thought somat must of went wrong.. did go well tho
