Unless you're selling a car or spares, then probably no!

 

its a totally optional thing and no arm twisting involved, if you want to advertise your own items for sale or place wanted adverts then your sorted or even obtain extra perks like increased PM box size or access to some restricted areas, all for less than a £1 a month its cheap.
