Default best brakes for s1... 16" wheels

as topic realy, could do with some better stoppers, got rear discs which required bigger wheels so could do with something up front but dont want to have to go up another wheel size.

heard the st170 set up is worth trying but getting the calipers is tricky

any opinions and what sort of bucks am i looking at paying? im doing a few track days this year so any other advice regarding the brakes would be valued.

cheers danny

ST170 everytime mate

I've gone through a few conversions on my S2 and the ST170 is th eonly setup that gives close to what I would consider suitable braking

SCC sorted my conversion out but can't remember the cost I'm afraid. They're on 01727 867747 though

Get some 4x4calipers and some 300mm hangers from Ford = ST170 front brakes..... the actual caliper is the same on both car its only the hanger thats different to house the 22mm larger disc

dont think brom will do another 315mil disc conversion with focus rs calipers, he said it was a bit akward when he done mine

i would say cossie 4pots and alloy bells and 300 mil rotors, then get a bracket to ake em fit and ya sorted for very little money

but first place to try at any poinmt though is brom@zoo as hes the only one id use for my brake conversions as hes a fookin wizz with em and a fooking top guy
