I have got a 2 litre focus zetec it has been runnin fine but 2day I was at a red light it turned green I put ma foot dwn an nothing happened at all it was like I stalled it turned the key the engine turns ova but just wont start ne ideas pls pretty desperate now !!!

 

Check for spark and fuel. Common places to start would be crank sensor and fuel pump. Also check coil pack although I haven't heard of those spontaneously giving up the ghost. Also check fuel cut off switch driver's footwell hasn't been triggered.

 

it does spark an theres no fuel if I put fuel in the carb it starts but shuts off straight away checked the fuel cut off switch an its had a new coil pack

 

Was anybody else expecting to click on this thread to see a pic of a Focus parked on it's owner?

I'm disappointed....

 

Maybe fuel pump then if there is no fuel.
