You know like ROAD tyres are easy- 205/50/15 is 205mm wide, sidewall is 50% of the 205, and goes on a 15inch rim.

But race/drag tyres are different, who understands? Can someone help me!

What would they be in tyre size terms i fookin understand

All will be big profile, but more worried about width than height

 

inches....

the top one for example....

26in high, from top to bottom as is sits on a car.....
10.5in wide....
16" rim diameter.....

it's imperial, not just for race tyres

 

oh, as as for profile....

[tyre height - rim diametre] / 2 = 5in sidewalls......

 

yea, fair enough, but for the maths thickos in the house (ie me) i was hoping someone could convert it into the 205/50 stylee

10.5in is 265
11.5 = 290 or 295
12.5 = 315 or 320

those sizes would be approx. xxx/60/16 roughly

have a search on google for tyre size calculators or converters.....i'm sure summot will pop up......
