Default Vibration under load

After a long drive home the other day my car vibrated under heavy load in 2nd and 3rd....4x4 so any obvious ones to check first?

I noticed that the front inner cv rubber has begun to fail so I need to rebuild that but I wondered if it could be box or diffs?

Also....a few times it seemed to almost surge under power as if boosting and then dropping but the boost gauge seemed to stay constant? I was surprised to see it hitting 1.8 bar on the t34. I have an rs500 cooler and Ahmed bajoo chip on green injectors but though this was really high? I have seen previous dyno plots of 330 and 360 bhp but thought it would run lower boost for that?

Bit of a Cossie noob so any pointers welcomed.

Id say check the Engine mounts. Exactly the same as on mine.

Are the wheels and tyres ok?, no buckling or out of balance tyres?

Thanks for the replies, I did 250 miles in the car and it only did it for the last 15-20 miles, it started after a fun roundabout and on ramp to roundabout so maybe something has broken or come loose on a mount, I am pretty sure the tyres and wheels are ok but will rule them out...thanks

check the o/s engine mount and the driveshaft at that side
also check the joints on the propshafts
the fronts are bad for failing

I had the vibration as you describe, the n/s joint was fucko'd and when I jacked the engine up it came off the mounts.
After a couple of years, had a similar thing, but the downpipe was dinging on something, this time the front prop uj had started breaking up...

Cool, thanks for the replies....drive shafts are not too big a problem....better than gearboxes!

I will check through the car starting with these pointers.
