Just thought I'd introduce myself. Hopefully I can get lots of help for the forum as well as being able to help others.

I have just purchased an ST170 from a salvage auction. The vehicle was on a CAT D write off but the damage is obviously repairable and I am hoping to get it back on the Road.

As with everything, there is good news and obviosly bad news. Hopefully I will be able to get it all sorted.

I have started on the interior as the only problem with the car was that it is covered on the inside with dog hairs absolutely everywhere.

I have decided to strip the interior with a view to replace what isn't possible to clean.

I need soome help determining what some connectors are for so if anybody can, please let me know.

I have removed both front seats and noticed the connectors were not connected. I will get pics later. The connectors are in a black box under the driver seat and have red connetor points.

there are also 2 buttons under the hand brake/traction conytrol trim panel. I need to know if these are for the heated seats and/or the airbags which was an option on these cars. If anybody can help or post their pics for me to confirm this would be appreciated.

I will post more pics of the car as and when I get them.
