T56 6 speed from dodge viper so has the higher torque capacity and larger rear output shaft,has adaptor plate and Chevy bellhousing ,but with this adaptor you could fit 90% of bellhousings if it wasn't going behind Chevy ,£ 1000 ono

Basically the gear ratios are same as Cossie t5 1 to 4 5th is slightly taller and 6 gear is very low as with most t56 boxs so at 80 mph you'd probably be only reving at 2000 rpm in 6th gear depending on your final drive,very very strong box and shifts nice and positive same as t5,there a lot of v8s supra,s and vipers etc using them with 1000 hp,plus the t56 is stronger and shifts better at higher rpm

 

Hi Turnover, what exactly would be needed to fit your Tremec gearbox to a 2wd Sapphire Cosworth? I already have a modified bellhousing for the hydraulic clutch conversion which has recently been done.
