Lancaster and Spitfire Finally Finished.
Looking good those mate.
Loved doing models as a kid and wasn't to bad.
Going to get my self an air brush and have a bash at one of these that I drive.

Cool. My brother has been driving them in the Falklands. That'll look sweet. Next for me is to get the 2 ground crew kits and a couple more fighter planes and maybe make a mini airfield or something.

Some wonderful work kosienutter, something to be really proud of
Just one hint if I may be so bold, if you give the matt paint a quick once over with an acrylic gloss varnish, the decals will adhere much better, thus preventing that 'silvering' effect.
Those look like the early Airfix examples, you really have done a great job of those, do keep it up.
If you feel really adventurous, try some of the Tamiya & Hasegawa 1/48th scale scale kits, they are rather splendid & make up into really impressive models.

Thanks for the advise, yeah I am gutted about the decals and will try the acrylic paint next time :top. And yes they were early models I found on eBay that were unwanted presents that were given to them years ago and never getting round to building them. Ł20, bargain
