Default Brand new Collins monitor *£250*

As above brought from mike rainbird and fitted for photo shoot, here's the info from his web site £250 plus postage

The monitor is available as a standard version and also as a professional version (the standard version is priced above). The monitor displays real-time engine management parameters, these include: Engine RPM (rpm), Coolant Temperature (ºC), Charge Air Temperature (ºC), Boost Pressure (absolute) (bar), Battery Voltage (V), Throttle Position (º), Ignition Timing (º BTDC), Fuel Injector Opening Time (mS), Sensor Fault Detection, 4 channels of analogue data (optional), Current Ignition Map Address (Professional Version only), Current Fuel Map Address (Professional Version only), Blanket Fuel Adjustment (Professional Version only), Blanket Ignition Adjustment (Professional Version only), The monitor works with ‘Ford Cosworths' that run the Magneti Marelli L6, L8 or P8 ECU if the correct Powerchip / Pectel chip is also fitted. So this includes all ECUs running Pectel / Collins boards (the comms support may need enabling, which we can do for a small charge on L8s, but some P8s may need a £50 mod to the board). Having spoken to MSD, I am lead to believe that some of their software also supports this, but you would have to confirm with them to be sure before ordering, as many do not, as they obviously favour their own IAD monitoring software. Easy to install - plugs into ECU diagnostic connector. PLEASE NOTE IF YOUR ECU IS NOT LISTED ABOVE IT WILL NOT WORK, NOR WILL IT BE PRODUCED AT A LATER DATE. Delivery is extra

For reference, virtually all our L8 software will talk to this, including any equipped with ALS / LC or flatshift, but most of our P8 will not as it runs a far superior datastream to the old Pectel version.

Can you send me a few pics of how it's installed or is there a link to a web site where you got it from
Very tempted, can you alter the timing ect on this unit? As my old Colin's monitor had such features and you could give it more fuel
