Hi my Puma has heat at the windscreen vents and the top of the dash is very hot. The heater is OFF and so is the air con, the engine temperature is normal. The interior of the car gets quite hot. Anybody got a solution?

Heater control valve at the back of the engine bay needs replacing.

Just make sure that it's a genuine Ford part, and not an Ebay special, as the pattern parts have a very high fail rate.

 

Thanks, I seldom use pattern parts they are often a false economy

 

I've just done this to my 1.7 with the right ford part and it sorted it out straight away.
