Fantastic

What an investment, buy it and then have stamps made to mass produce those panels. If only I had the time.

I should think that will be snapped up

The cost would be horrendous to produce the dies & tooling to reproduce all those panels

I do agree that is a seriously cool collection of parts, would love all those panels from an Escos

He's in Germany so I'm guessing he either bought a clear out of the old stock from ford Europe or he bought them when still in production knowing what an icon it would be a money he'd make in future

it is exspensive yes but there is a guy allready on with it on turbosport, he has allready had a lot of things re produced like front wings, inner wings, rear quarters and he is in talks with a plant in china that make volkswagens bodyshells to make new mk1 and mk2 escort shells, he is trying to get people to put deposits on them as he needs to raise in the region of 3 million quid iirc

They make brand new late 60's mustangs and camaros in the states so won't be long till someone gets on with an escort , I'm sure the rally guys who spend upwards of 100k on a mk2 would love brand new shells so there not hunting around for clean shells to build up new cars or for spares for there rally cars

it will be cheap enough in the future to scan them in with a 3d scanner and then 'print' them
