hi all first time on here so be gentle lol and hello(sorry about bad spelling but hope you can get the jist of it)
the problem started after the car had been parked for a few days.

car is a 1.8 escort lx 1996
started the car the other day and moved it ,has always been a good starter went away for a week and when I got back car wont start.
Have checked the basic and its a fuel problem pump not running also alarm not arming when car locked.
Now I have a few question
1 is the alarm/anti theft fuse controlled and if this has blown would it stop power from reaching the pump.
2 will the pump still try and run if low on fuel as only about a gallon in the tank
3 wonder if it could be a anti theft problem stopping the car from starting if so can this be bypassed even if temp repair. so that I can check out the fuel pump.
