I have a mk4 escort two door estate, and I am wondering what upgrades there are from the standard brakes currently they are solid discs not vented, and single piston calipers ,

Now the questions lies with could I go for something like rs turbo calipers and vente4d discs but would anything need changing ie would I need different mounts or brackets......also same for the drums....

Im a car guy just need pointing in the right direction as to what is interchangeable and other peoples ideas

Turbo discs & calipers bolt straight on the front with no changes but if you wanted to go bigger still have a look at the "how to upgrade to cossie brakes" sticky at the top of the rs turbo room & all the info you needs in there.
Same on the back end turbo drums bolt straight on but make sure you get the whole set up off the donor car as the back plates & hubs are different

 

cool, will have a look into that , I think discs on the back is a bit over kill
