Default 3dr cossie

Hi guys and gals, i have a quick question.

Is the any sort of gasket between the oil/water heat exchanger that fits to the side of the block, the block side not the filter side, it just looks like it should have something there??

Should have a rubber ring like on the oil filter.

I have taken one off another filter i had lying around but it just looks wrong!! is there any oil pressure after it has gone through the filter as if there is it lookslike it will just blow off??

should be a red seal as I remember different to the oil filter seal and yes plenty of pressure there

Thanks guys i found one at burtons its called a modine oil seal. many thanks for the advice
