Default 2.0 dohc brakes and steering rack question

ive got the chance of buy 2wd cosworth calipers discs and pads at humble money question is do they fit straight onto my 2.0 dohc hubs or have i got to change hubs aswell ? also my sierra recently went in for nct and there is play in the rack up and down the way and the part that goes upto the steering wheel lifts up out of the rack a when locking left or right one man told me it was spring loaded the other said it was dangerous wear which one is it ? and can they be refurbed or is it time for another rack ? cheers

Brakes will fit if you tap the hubs
The Cossie stuff boots TO the hub whereas the normal stuff boots THROUGH the hub

The rack issues are 2 separate things, the column bush is Ł4 and 15 minutes

It's the rest of your description that is a little confusing
