Hi guys

I've just bought a group A cone filter & trumpet from burton power, & I've just tried to fit it on the saph cos 4x4 & it's hitting screen was bottle, inner wing, & when I shut the bonnet it's hitting the vent!!!!!!! I had a small k&n cone filter on before.

Is there sumit I'm doing wrong ie do I need cut the samco down etc??

Mines the same and has been for about 6 years lol I made it a little better by cutting the end onto the turbo a little shorter I wouldn't worry about it

I trimmed my turbo pipe down too.When i first fitted the filter the boost pipe was kinked.

Yeh that's whats happening to mine it's kinking the pipe!!!!! Do you have vent covers on to???

 

mine has no kink plus no vents im rwd

 

& I've just noticed yr screen was bottle is in front of yrs where mine is underneath it???

 

bit odd mines the genuine bottle so its right wear it is

It's defo my bottle that's wired??? Yrs are all in line with the bonnet stay, does that mean yrs are dog legged?? mine just pops strait up??? Hence the prob?

Mine sits close to the wash wipe reservoir neck too, you may have to 'fabricate'it a little bit

Mines close but gets in there.

 

It's my screen was bottle that's different????????? Mine just comes strait up out the hole where the pics u posted yrs are at a angle then come up, so it's been swapped at some point???? Don't suppose any1 has 1 for sale??

Mine rubs against the bottle and the oil catch tank (just) but there is enough room for it in there. if you want a bottle there are a few cars on here being broken for spares or try ebay, as far as I am aware all sapphires have the same washer bottle in the front.
