Default clutch help please

Ive just had a new clutch fitted my ibiza 20vt track car as it was slipping after being mapped.

Ive gone from duel mass flywheel etc to solid flywheel and 6 paddle clutch, now my problem is the biting point is now ridiculously low as in on the floor? Soon as you start to life the pedal it wants to go, same as changing gear etc. Now I'm supposed to be on track in 2 weeks at croft rsoc so does anyone have an idea what could be wrong or will it get better with miles or maybe try bleeding it????

Cheers

Does the pedal get better the more you press it?

whats it like when you push the pedal down to change gear do you have to take it to the floor to disengage the clutch?

the cover is too close to the plate then or the release bearing too close to the cover
you could machine a bit off the cover to gain clearence thats what AP did to an RST one of mine years ago as I had the same problem but I never actually refitted it to try before selling the car
