anyone know which oil filters are smaller than the std ford ones but a direct fit? im sure theres one from a renault of some description?!

 

Escort cosy its 70mm high mines a copper Z501 have this fitted to my cosy 24v V6 as im tight for room

I've got a couple of small cvh ones as theres two different sizes for on my zetec engine but I think the one your thinking of is a Renault 5 one

no they're not
cvh/zetec and old x-flows can be interchangable, but thats far from all being the same
even cosworh filters are differant between 2wd and 4x4
then theres diesels, duratecs, eco boosts, tdci etc etc etc
all differant again

if its a zetec, i used to put fiesta HCS ones on all of mine

 

i meant the fitment to the oilfilter! :P lengths might be all different but i just want the shortest possible so what else matters in this instance?

 

on my zetec turbo i use a KA one as these are short.
I have also used a robin reliant one in the past.

 

how short are we talking mate?

 

renault clio williams 2.0 16v there tiny i use them for mk3 mk4 zetec conversions bolt straight on
