Hi im currently restoring a mk2 escort and I have decided to get it blasted but which one is best. Without recking the shell.

sand blasting - Bead blasting - Soda basting?

 

I'd reccomend bead or sand

 

Crushed walnut shells.

 

Soad, Check out car restorers forums for the reason

 

sand is quickest but you cant really use it on outer bodypanels as it will thin them out too much
soda is best but a long slow process but can be used on every panel and wont haunt you when painting like sand will
