I got there about 10 Daz, was nice to see the old girl hiding ithe back ground on your stand.

I now have to favourite S1's

 

Looks very nice this, is crying out for a standard exhaust though

 

Looked amazing Andy and always had a large crowd around it, concours was down on numbers this year but with the weather i wasn't surprised, the car looks great and here's the pic i got of it whilst being prepared

I never got to see the rest of the show to be honest! I was either sheltering in the gazebo at our local group stand or with AJC cleaning TBJ until about 11.30.

Mine is feeling a little neglected over the last 2 years! This one has had all the attention! Need to do a small resto on mine again but it'll have to wait a few years yet unfortunately, but I will be doing a bit of work on it here and there to improve a few bits and pieces. I have other things that require my attention. It got dumped on the stand and then I set off to help AJC on this one.

 

I am pretty sure I may have had crack on display a few times whilst cleaning under the arches!

I have yet to see the car in the flesh , but going by the pics its stunning

It may be at Croft Paul, and possibly Castle Combe, and maybe National Day so you may get to see it in the flesh at one of those shows. It's not as clean as we could have got it, but we refused to remove waxoyle from certain areas for points on a score card. We'd sooner have a nice Escort than a trophy that reminded us it was nice once upon a time!

Gaz! Did you expect anything less?! We've another to build yet and get AJC's Monte and Sapphire back together.

Well I wouldn't go that far but we do pride ourselves in producing a very very good car in our humble opinion. There will be critics out there who find fault here and there. We know where we could improve bits on the car but even then it's only minor bits, Like the fact we have a genuine throttle cable to go on it which has the blue silicone protective sleeve on it for example.
