yes carb was spitting flames out but sorted out before I got it

bottom rear tubs been welded aswell clean enough for a mot ,will get stripped over winter

carbs an a diff needed but yes its fun all the same

Love it! mk2's are getting so expensive though! i would love a mk2 but the prices are so high i refuse to even contemplate buying one! its an investment though lol

test an rag it round this summer needs a lsd an that will do for now unless out happens ,winter strip it shell an weld passenger piller small hole and tidy engine bay welds ,and full respray same colour

cost me 2500 to buy an 180 quid fueling the wagon as we did drag a trailer with a focos cosworth on aswell

yes he said there was quite a bit of intrest but I was first there he took me second bid aswell so happy at that ,mate sells mk2 bits so iv raided his stores last nite ,newer avo front shocks ,exhaust ,and few small items ,another bloke from Cumbria I know has loads mint moredoor bits so I can get a back passenger door for the resto over winter good look with urs I love the lakes tour ,bit sad the moggy will not be doing it this year

already had new avo front shocks as they were knackerd ,rack ,exhaust service spoiler a tyre ,water temp sensor dash top ,helps having a mate that sells mk2 parts tho

 

just passed its mot put some miles down to nite for a shack down all being well it will be on the tour

not really done much to this as iv been far to busy getting other peoples cars ready needs spoiler resetting and bumpers painting ,got hold of some carbs last week fitted them but the jets were wrong sizes so had bosh the old girl back together as we cut pedal an that carbs are away getting jetted








hopefully carbs be ready soon to go back on
